Denver Pride 5k
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!
Pride Month is one of my favorite times of the year - a chance to celebrate authenticity, community, and the courage it takes to be yourself.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I care deeply about creating spaces where people feel safe to show up exactly as they are. We all deserve places where we don't have to edit ourselves, hide parts of our identity, or worry about whether we'll be accepted.
I've had the privilege of witnessing the incredible strength, courage, and resilience of LGBTQIA+ individuals, and I've also seen how transformative it can be when someone finally feels seen, supported, and understood. There is something powerful about being able to take a deep breath and know you belong.
Pride Month is a beautiful reminder of the importance of community, authenticity, and showing up for one another. It's a celebration of the freedom to be yourself, to love openly, and to live authentically. It's also a reminder that everyone deserves to feel seen, accepted, and supported, whether in healthcare, our workplaces, our families, or our communities.
The Denver Pride 5K is one of my favorite ways to celebrate - surrounded by people coming together to support equality, inclusion, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
I'd love for you to join me! Whether you walk, run, cheer from the sidelines, or make a donation, every bit of support makes a difference.

Life is hard enough without having to hide who you are. Everyone deserves to feel accepted, valued, and cared for exactly as they are.
Happy Pride Month, friends.
